Are you agar agar in a powder form? also following the same method as firemedic>?

The recipes I posted produce a batch of food that usually feed two rays (8-12 inches) for two weeks.

Bigger rays = larger batches -or- more frequent batches
Smaller rays = batches last longer.

Respectfully,
FireMedic.

thanks i,m goona try this..

I have used a small amount of Hikari food sticks which float and it has not affected the sinking of the food. I couldn't say for sure what all floating pellets might do

Sorry, can I change minced shrimp with krill? The price is about half from the shrimp, thanks. And te fish can I use tuna ?thanks

Day 1...... Rays won't touch it. Dorado enjoys playing with it. Irwinnis ate it.

I used Shrimp, Salmon, Talapia, Scallops, FD Krill, and flakes. Smells awfull. Rays seem to agree.

However I did enjoy the amusement of watching it bounce off the floor when dropped, and playfully tossed at the lady friend.

Guess I should have made a batch consisting of only thier regular sea food then gradually increase the dry food content. My rays have never been fed dry food.

Any ingredients you choose to add will work as long as you are mindful of the moisture content. Find the foods that suite your needs and experiment a little. :)
too much moisture = soup :(
too little moisture = toothpaste :irked:

I blended mine just like slushies. Just enough water that the blender starts turning it without stirring..... Seemed to work well..... Consistency was good 1st time out.
