After you guys blend up the ingredients do you pour it in something to make pellets or just scoop spoonfuls in the tank???

Does it break apart easily in the water?

I poured mine straight from the blender to 4 6x6 tupperwares. Bout 45 min in the fridge and I pulled them from the fridge, flexed the tupperware and the 1" thick 6x6 patties just plopped down on the counter. Hit em with a pizza cutter and 1x1/2x1/2 cubes.......

I get home from work, grab the "bag O ham" and go hit up the tanks. No more thawing, peeling, cutting crap, just feeding. Food duty on the weekend and during the week grab a ziplock, feed em all and back in the fridge in less time then it takes food to thaw.

It breaks apart but no worse then thawed people sea food. Important thing is controlling what they eat. Much easier to insure they have proper nutrition.

If it is messy or is breaking apart too much try to tweek your moisture content. Mine is less messy than pellets it doesn't break apart on its own and very little comes from the rays spiracles as he eats it.

I agree 100% DB I sure don't miss taking scissors to night crawlers twice a day :)

how long will it last in the refrigerator before it starts to go bad? And is it ok to freeze the extras if you make a big batch?

I gotta batch in the freezer and one in the fridge :D I see no problem.

DB ya have a good point. I would rather siphon out bits every night rather than feeding them something more clean, yet not as beneficial. Thanks
