I could tell that Darius had avoided fast food from his first post. He describes it as "you get what you pay for"...so obviously he hasn't seen how much you pay and how little you get.

You can fit the entire McDonald's combo meal under the buns of the basic burger here at the Roadhouse restaurant. Both combos cost around $7 but one, you get a meat patty that is around 6 inches in diameter and 1/2-3/4 inch thick, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions, buns, crispy pickles, a large pile of fries and a properly sized drink. The other, you get what looks like a slice of brown pepperoni inside of a biscuit, a few skinny fries and a gallon of soda.

Also, it is WAY cheaper to make my own food so I don't eat out. I can stuff myself with good food for less than $5/meal while eating out starts at $6 and I'm still hungry.
 
Yeah if you think this is bad come to Philadelphia. I myself am a volunteer firefighter right outside of Philly. Within the last year multiple career firefighters in Philly have been getting punished for rescuing people and getting hurt in the process. The most recent was at a fire a few weeks ago guy makes a grab and gives the woman his mask to breathe got punished for taking his mask off inside the fire and giving it to her. If he didn't she would of died. Another one a firefighter pulled a victim out and received second degree burns to his face. He saved the persons life but was punished for being hurt by being reassigned to another less active firehouse and a suspension. It's ridiculous what the worlds come to.
