first "real" build 320gal!!

so here is what i was thinking for the top... the black = wood, blue = cut out, im planning on leaving 3inch trim of wood all the way around and either 3 or 4 inch going from front to back? then using 2 inch screws every 3 inches and screw it in from the top? will this work better than 2 2x6? oh and i was going to use the 1/2inch plywood

That would work nicely but I would grab some of that marine grade 3/4" from Robert instead of 1/2"

thats not a bad idea ill give him a call and see what he has.. didnt he want $23 for a full sheet or something?

Yeah which is even cheaper than picking up a sheet of 1/2" at HD or Lowes.

ya i know.. i wish he would have told me he could get them before i ordered all of mine at $43 a sheet haha but o well 43 isnt bad for 1 1/8 thick ply either
