First off, why does this feel like a waste of time even updating when no body is helping whatsoever?

Not everyone has helpful advice... sometimes bad advice can make it worse.

To honest I lost track of this thread just before the backhoe until today.

Looking good

by the way, what are those last 3 pics?

Thanks. And the last three pics got put on there by accident and I cant seem to get rid of them.

A few weeks ago my arowana jumped out of the tank while I had the lid open for feeding, crazy few minutes. But he is doing perfectly fine, no worries. But when he jumped out a scale came off, and i took it into my old biology teacher and she let me look at it under a microscope. So basically, that's was an arowana looks like close up. 140x magnification actually. Not visible to the human eye.
I thought it was very interesting actually.

I'll post the other pics in a minute

No problem man.
The "tub" is our above ground pool. It's been empty for awhile and we are going to re-do it all in the Spring. Thats where my liner and filter are coming from

Sorry guys, havent worked on it at all. I've been helping my dad for the past couple months with setting up his deer lease and havent had time for the pond. I'm hoping to start back up on it soon and have it running during the winter, and put the fish into the pond in the spring.

One update though, I just bought two baby red-tailed catfish this week. Both are about 2-3" long
I really only bought one, but they shipped me one with a deformed eye. So they sent me a second one free.

Not sure if two rtc is too much for my pond or not though. I think that if theyre raised together itll be fine aggression-wise, but idk if 5500g is enough space for the two of them
