One thing I wanted to bring up is a slight flaw in your logic about the temp of the water. In a pond or lake there are different temperatures dependent on the depth of the water. LMBs obviously can survive tropical temps but they usually don't spend their entire lives at that temp in nature. They will usually spend some time in the shallows warming up but eventually return to deeper cooler water. A more moderate temp of 65 to 75 degrees would be more suitable for your LMB. Just my two cents.
