Could be creek chubs or hornyhead chubs.

seriously...looks like bait. catch a few then go to the local river and use them suckers!

its a chub of some kind.

They look like snakeheads! They probably are too.

They are definitely not snakeheads.

they look like a shiner or a chub of some kind.

that red moss stuff is kind of cool. There is a pond full of that stuff near where I live. It has emerald shiners in there. The water is really really dirty though.

We do this all the time.
I could use a good trap design ??????????????
heard of one made of 2 liter bottles and bucket ?

dogfishHard to tell.....mabye common shiners?? or perhaps creek chubs?? cant really see them very well:(

I can net some for better look/pic.
never thought they got that big. some were at least 8+" long,3" deap.
big black stripe down sides, looking close maybe several dull lines too.

the red moss ?

I don't think the red moss is moss at all. Willow roots are red, and they love to grow near water. If there is some algae on them, it might appear to be moss. The roots appear to be on the outside of the turn, where water will erode the bank, thus exposing roots.
