Fish prices ~ Australia vs the world

Another fish that costs a crazy amount are silver arowana. In the part of the country I'm from (Western Australia) it is even harder to get exotic fish. A baby silver arowana would cost around $1000 +

Arowanas of most species, birchir, datnoids (silver and indo), most species of stingrays, payara, dorado, are just a few monsters that can be found within 3 hours of my house 95 percent of the year or able to be shipped to me with no hassle airport to airport.
Most are reasonable price

If I moved my fish tank to Australia I would probably end up trading everything I have for aul lol my bichirs worth 500?!?! My aros worth 1000??? with those price tags I'm surprised no one trying to breed them

Baby silver arowana cost $15 to $20
Bichir about $10 to 30 between 4 to 6 inches

My country and your country exchange rate is almost 1 to 1

your fish may be expensive but I have just the thing to make you feel better

A new Honda civic cost 120k, only can use for 10 years. Every 10 years it will cost you about 50k to drive additional 10yrs

And I haven't touch on housing lol

So I won't mind exchanging cheaper car and housing prices for expensive fish lol
