The diagram below would be how the build up would be done. That is from the description the contractor gave during his explaination.
Excavation followed by wooden piles.
RC Concrete Pond Base over the Wood Piles with a water proof mix.
Then the Wall with RC concrete and also water proof mix.
Then a cement sand mix to get the final slope and contour of the pond base.
Final finish with colored cement blue for the base and white for the sides.
The white was chosen so that it would be easier to see the fishes.
No updates today as the kitchen section is being done.
