So, are you the talk of the neighborhood or what!

You can say that again. Lots of interested visitors asking what kind of swimming pool is that. LOL yes a big pool for the large pacu's guess nobody will be swimming in there when they see the feeding action. Rather wild at the moment at my current house pond of 8 by 3 by 4 deep. (nine of them to be exact.) Probably have to throw a house party when its all done. :naughty::mwave:

Pacu are truely gentle giants. I do swim with mine even when they are feeding. Just be sensible as their jaws are powerful enough to snip fingers off easily. Feeding time and floating nuts will be your neighbours favourite activity soon.

I am looking forward to your filtration setup.

Yum yum that would be something great to look forward to.

Will post detail on the filter section when the build on that is being done.

Filter Wall Beam Jig being removed and you can see that Rain have fallen and the pond is really wet and muddy.

Nothing much being done on the pond today as the workers are continuing the kitchen section. More progress prehaps next week.

The Pond Base is still filled with water and this was scoped out by the workers using buckets. The RC mesh was then laid on top of the Wood Piles and secured with Nails. Concrete was then mixed with a Water proofing compound added. Following are the pics of the Pond Base being done.

There will be another 2 more layers on top of this pond RC Floor.

The Filter Pipes were also laid out at this point as well as two 3" drain pipes which leads directly to the town council drain behind the fish room. This took the entire day to complete. You can see the RC wires in all the Pic. sticking out from the side. They will later be joined to form the Pond Walls using plywood to form the Jigs. More on that when the work is done.
