hopefully still no leaks??

Looks ok at the moment after about a week, however it seems that the inner sides of the pond are showing a bit of a bulge, sort of like a bubble. No leaks at the moment. Will be getting the contractor to look at it asap.

Will keep this updated asap. probably tomorrow when the guy shows up.

Great build. Hope everything's OK. What happened to the tiled MFK logo? lol

2000th pos btw nice build glad to see it filled.

Im not sure whats the cause of that.
It sounds like a plaster coating has swelled up and popped free of the wall.
If thats the case, then the pond has to be drained of all water, and the bubble of plaster would be hammered off and then redone.

Well done bro. Big nice project and I have read from page one to the last...:) I can't wait to see it finish and the fishes in the pond...:) Keep update us with pics...

Problems with the Pond Plastered Wall.

Well called the contractor few day ago to look at the problem. Discussed the solution and as kumdoalan pointed the workers will be coming back to hack off the plastered cement on both the indoor pond and the filter section.

This will take 2 day to retify and it have just been completed.

The pond was first drained and cleaned at the same time.
Hacking off the problem areas with some power tools.

They suspect that it was due to the smooth finish of the concrete RC pond walls so this time they will take a sharp hammer to gouge and roughten the surface before re plastering the final layer.

Re plastering of the cement coat with the color coat.
Another test of the water later as we wait for this new coat of cement to dry.

Here are pics of the on - going cure ???:irked:

Pic 1. Rather dusty using the power tools to clear up the problem areas.

Pic 2 , 3 and 4 How it looks after new cement was coated.
The will add the color after this is done.
