Fish room/Business progression thread

You kind of on your own with that one. Now, is when You have to do the work. You're in the Apple! Do you mean to tell me you can't work up a way to sell some fish in NY? You have one of the best markets in the world for everything that can be sold. You should be selling salt to a slug right now! If you believe in what you are doing, You will ask the right questions. And right now... I think you're kind of off track.
 
If you have not done so, you should set up an Ebay store and sell some there... put no reserve, set your shipping prices... you wont make much, but it will be sales and at least get something going.....

also, quality pictures are a MUST.... find a proffesional photographer or someone with a high grade camera to come take some pictures of your stock.. that way you will always have them...
 
I do not have DOA, I throw in a couple extra fish to cover it just in case... I am shipping my first orders out the third week of February.

I also have some of my try-colored Platies for sale at $1 each I have around 10 avalible.
 
That is awesome!i love to see young people suceed.especially in the aquarium industry.all the chain stores seem to push the mom n pop stores out of my area.nice when someone as young as you takes the knowledge you've gained from your hobby and can make a profit from it.way to go, and best of luck.

Profits come with time, but you are seeing a turnover, fish in fish out, more fish in etc.
