Call me superstitious but i'm damn freaked out when people/friends come home and comment on my aros.. always think they give em the evil eye.. so the next minute i'm cracking my knuckles to get rid of the evil eye.. and in most parts of india we put camphor in a piece of paper and do these lil circular motions clockwise anti clockwise thrice and burn it up.. and i do it every friday :) well i believe in it.. crack crack crack...

Wow. I was just reminded of what superstition is.

How do you know the 'evil eye' when you see it?

Wait...

you were talking about rolling a cigarette, weren't you?

All superstitions are crap.

well, the one about bad luck to step on catfish is true...

and the one about bad luck to keep small bottom dwellers with big crayfish is true...

actually, maybe those are just common sense rather than superstition.

Its bad luck to run red lights too, I suppose.

If the arowana jumps out of the tank and dies, it means it saved you or your family from an omen? :WTF:

when I was a kid, my dad used go by "toss back the first caught fish of the day, and you will catch more fish" superstistion, until he caught a monstrous flounder off the pier(first caught of day), that superstition was cancelled for the day. Also when crabbing, when we would collect the pots at the end of the day, he would say to not count the crabs until all were collected or it was bad luck on the uncollected pots.

Both fishing superstitions but still fish superstitions.
