the owner at an lfs i go to had the same problem he just about the fourth of a bottle of prime in his tank and in a few minutes teh fish were fine if u have prime i recommend u do the same

That much prime can kill fish just as fast as bleach. 5 times the recommended dosage is the maximum level that is safe.

I only dipped them for 1-2 minutes and I took them out and rinsed them repeatedly with dechlorinated water.

Still need to know dilution.

You cannot use pure bleach it is too harsh, and will leave a residue that lingers for several minutes. For bleach dips, 1 part bleach to 19 parts water.

Thats what I did I didnt use full bleach 1 part bleach, i didnt know what you meant by dilute, i know it means small solute compared to solvent

Hi,what ever the case is I dont recommend using bleach, even in low concetrated solutions,it never gets totally rinsed out

Bleach dip solution is a very good solution to BBA.

Dilution? I dont know what that means but i'll tell you what I used... Water and Bleach More Water Than Bleach. What does 1 part bleach mean and 19 part water i never got that factor.
