Fish That Don't Interest You

I don`t really like the really aggressive fish that only eat feeders. I wouldn't like to see a fish killing another fish. I guess fish like piranha, snakeheads, wolffish, things with giant teeth are ones I would prefer not to keep.

Not all these fish only eat feeders. Some can be trained to feed on pellets, frozen, etc.

I hate silver arowana, why would anybody want a fish that is going to look horrible when they get big.

They look good when they get older... I hate oscars, goldfish, tiny community fish, some cichlids

flowerhorns are oooovverratteedd and i thought that i was the only one who didnt get much out of pbass

now here comes a shot at my own stocking

I personally hate iri sharks for their skittishness as well as pacus though I rehomed 3 iri sharks and 2 pacus they are my least favs. More than a few times I have thought my pacu was gonna be a namesake TANKBUSTER for the speed with which it moves, hopefully it never loses its steering power.

The iri sharks are so jumpy that one time I had my biggest launch itself out of the tank go airborne and land in the sink 3 feet away from the tank, my wife could hear me yelling at the fish all the way upstairs. And one time the very same fish speared me in the wrist from the other side of my 180 is shot jet speed 5 feet right into my wrist I thought it broke something my hand went so numb. But, they are my wife's favourite fish and any fish that I have I do my best to give it a good life, hence our 300g

All of those nearly identical African Malawi, Tanganyikan etc. cichlids. I love the American cichlid group, but when it comes to 1,000 subspecies of the same fish with different shades of blue or yellow, and people are excited about the new blue and yellow one, I want to barf.
Good first response and I keep Africans.I just cant get into the whole Flowerhorn/Red Parrot thing.I think they are largely overrated and It just escapes me why someone would set out to create these hybrid monsters when there are soo many other fish to enjoy.

most cichlids

Im just not really into cichlids in general. or angels, discus, anything like that. My tastes run more towards the unusual. am a big fan of cats, bichirs, and anything grotesque and/or prehistoric looking. The most normal thing in my tank is a few tiger barbs

For me it has to be the Wolf Fish. They just dont do it for me.
