Fish That Don't Interest You

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
for me i dont really have any that dont do anything for me, but i do have 2 that i think are over rated x100, while i liked them both and would own both, Aro's and P Bass and way to overrated, there everywhere you look on this site lol, t shirts backgrounds, overated

Even though there are fish out there that I don't have any desire to keep, I can see myself getting them if they're good dither fish. Example: Blood Parrots. I don't like them, but I think they can make Arowanas, Clown Knives, and other fish become the center piece of the tank.

Asian arowana for me! Price is ridiculously high, can't own it in the States, always creates drama and argument when posted! Snakehead is another one. The only thing I like about snakehead is their yummy meat!

There are fish i dont see the point to but id personally go with alot of other folk on the each to their own view. I find myself drawn to specific species i never fancied before the more i learn about them or hear about other experiences

i dont understand the dislike of afro cichlids, i love those mean suckers
but i dont like
any fish over $50, i mean come on people, its a effing fish but no offense ;) (its probably cause i can't afford them)
any schooling fish that just swim in circles
those huge-arse fish that you can't really possibly house comfortably
bichirs, ropes, lungs
mutated, retarded, broken fish, that cant really even halfway function properly

Wooww, this was my post in the other thread.
Now, mbuna don't really do it for me, i love bichirs and ropefish, still don't like lungfish or retarded fish, and last week i bought 2 fish over $50. This site has done things to me...:nilly:

Also, big catfish kind of bore me. And arapaima, they're only alluring to people because of their massive size. Or silver arowanas, i love how they look when they're young, but a big silver turd that can only look down just doesn't do it for me. I like most any other aro's though.

Also big Central American cichlid communities. I love Central American cichlids, but not when they're all crammed together. I like solo tanks for them, or breeding pairs, then you get their full personality.

 Didn't we talk about how yummy snakehead tasted the other night?

I never got into Central American cichlids or most cichlids for that matter.
I never got into Pbass either. I had one and I loved how it ate everything, but he choked on his food:(

The only cichlids that catch my eye are pikes, geos, discus, and angels. So I guess only SA cichlids and for african/madagascar cichlids, only the polleni do it for me but even then I'm picky.

I have a few other cichlids, but they were rehomed to me.
