Fish the LFS can't get rid of

My LFS had a decent7 inch male flowerhorn that they wanted $350 for. He sat there for months and months in 2 cubic feet of water, lost all color and kok, last time I saw him he looked sickly with a pimple on his lower lip and last week he wasnt there. I hope he found a home and didnt just die. This particular lfs has a couple know-it-all douchebags there. They seem to get rude if you dont buy what theyre selling.

Update: I asked about the flowerhorn, and the douchebag told me they sold it. Then a few weeks later I find out from a friend that it died on them. I hate that lfs.

There is a lfs near me that has a gulper cat. They've had it for a couple of months now. They just have "Gulper cat - rare!" on the tank, and if you ask how much it is, you'll get a price between $350 and $550. I think they will have a hard time selling it since you kinda have to be a fish retard (like me) to want that ugly fish, and most people would rather buy the $15 RTC.

I don't really consider Petsmart a LFS, but there is one near me that is trying to sell their Red Belly Pacu for $1. They have had them for at least 6 months,in the very small divided tanks, and they have started to tear each other apart. One was missing half of it's tail fin. I think it's funny that they try to sell these huge fish,but don't sell tanks larger than a 150.

At least Petsmart sells 150's. Petco has Pacu's as well, and they don't sell tanks bigger than 55, at least around me.

A mosquitofish and a bluefin killifish that have been in the planted tank for two years and nobody is awared that they are for sale.

There is a 3' nurse shark at my LFS that is not selling. price is $399. I'd buy it if I had a spare $399 laying around, or a place to house a shark!!

For me its a foot long gator gar me and my dad have been trying to get from the LFS forever now.

Mine had a red devil for free, and it still took almost a month to get rid of!

The fish we had for the longest time that I know of is a Borneo Marble Catfish. It's been there for over 4 years.

Most of the problem fish though are the Hole-in-head oscars, and low grade flowerhorns we get from customers that last for months and kill all of the other large fish because there is no room.
