Usually at the local pet store, back 2 years ago they couldn't get rid of a lot of their CA/SA cichlids and I was usually the one getting them. They've had firemouths, and lots of other fish breed there as well.

one near me in savannah ga Exotic Underworlds(nice store and employees by the way) had a beautiful 12" + clown knife for a few months...i havent been back in ab 2 so i dunno if its still there or not, ill be goin there this week and ill check up on my buddy

ok i went back today and the clown knife is STILL there, he is a gorgeous CK and there asking like $200 for him and now they have a bigger one there too and are askin $399 for the big one!!!!!!

I've seen LFS that clearly have big CA cichlids that are common and people dont seem interested in buying, like adult dempseys.

Yeah, people tend not to buy bigger cichlids.

Unless they are a MFK.

one LFS i know cant get rid of their mantis shrimp....thats why im getting it for under half price!

I have it different than you. The first time my LFS opened there were 10 arowanas. 1 week later there is 4.

And, that 4 is going to cause you to lose $.
