excuse me? they slaughter salmon im sorry slaughter is a uniquely human trait. animals kill what they need to survive humnas kill what they see fit

no doubt i agree with you totally

since when did an animal in its natural habitat become guilty of overharvesting what it eats naturally to survive?

Rather if we are talking about slaughter, let's talk about gill netting, lets talk about drag netting etc... etc... etc...

I was unaware of the fact that a California Sea lion's natural habitat was at the Base of the Bonneville Dam 150 miles from the Pacific ocean?

wow.... we don't have those here. all we have are ducks, gesse, and pelicans. But WHY would some one shoot a sea lion????? i wouldn't.

OK shall we then open up the can of debate about how man has totally messed with natural habitat thereby forcing animals further and further in the search for what they need to live!!!

I would think not! As such would surely degrade into a slingfest!!!!!! Especially since it seems wanton disregard for an animals right to life is okay as evidenced by your previous posts!

Edit:And the Base of the Bonneville Dam is such a natural occurence too

The Sealion's going to live after being shot in the head? Wow. they should enlist sealions into the Military. I can see it now , The few the proud , Navy SeaLions.

Seriously though , I hope someone makes him their wife in jail.

^ for real. i work with sealions everyday and they aren't easy to handle but they are innocent no reason to shoot them whoever said they are pests they need to eat too

What do you do for a living? Marine Bio?

Ive been tempted to put a bullet in Flipper a few times. It blows that 1 out of ever 10 fish is of legal length so I have to throw back the other nine, all to be eaten by Flipper and his posse! Then it REALLY pisses you off when you get tired of him so you pull anchor and run ten miles at 30mph and by the time you reset over another spot the bastard is right there!

hmmm??? I respect your point of view..but I think you are a little off base saying I have "wanton disregard for an animals right to live". I'm not sure how one comes to a conclusion about someone like that having never met the person.
