Friday night tournament!!
Big bruh backed out on me without saying anything but it was ok, I still went ahead. Tonights lake was "Rising Sun". Where in the past a 1.14 pounder won. Its a fairly hard lake to fish. I was able to land 3 on the spinny and two on the buzzy.
Night fishing is very different for me cause Im maily a shore line fishermen. Everybody there all do the same thing and that is stay in one spot for long periods of time,while fishing the bottom with the worm or other SLOW fished baits. I like to cast and keep it moving but at night it is very different. Out of the four times i've been I usally catch more fish then other people but they all be smaller. Well this coming Friday is the last tournament and its going to be 35 a head and the winner will take 100% of the pot. I think im going to find a decent spot and fish the 10" u-tail all night.
Another I didnt win but i still had fun!!

My fishing buddy Dennis was here at 5:30am and we begun fishing at at 7. "Farrington" was todays lake of choice. We didnt land anything until Dennis landed are first at 9:15. The bite picked up after that, the CP's where out in full force. They usually are when water temps are around 70. I let a few get off at the boat. The bass bite was just like it has been for awhile SLOW but I managed to do something I havent been able to do, catch a decent size bass. It came as I was on my stick and move tactic using the spinny(It felt so GOOD!!). IT was just 2.9 but it was my first decent size bass in about 3 weeks.
Not a excellent day but definitly a better one!!!!

god i love fishing i go once or twice a week fresh and salt but i broke my wrist and been in a cast for almost 2 months not i missed out on a lot of good fishing nice fish to i love NJ lakes the one by my house has almost every kind of fish in it and monsters to

Well I woke up and was feeling alittle sick so I called off of work today(STUPID). About a hour later I woke up bored so I called my boy Dennis to see if he wanted to go fishing. Are journey started at 9am at the main lake of the "Assunpink" system.
I landed my first on my thrid cast, then missed alittle one on my next cast. About 30 minutes later Dennis landed his first. After that it went dry. The bite didnt return until 230 just like the "Moon clock" said it would. Around that time I got bored out of my mind tring to fish the deep water with the worm so we pulled up the unchor and I begun my stick and move tactic. I landed my second shortly after. Within the next hour I landed 5 more, all coming on the white spinny. Alittle bit of time went by before we seen any more action. I then landed another bass. Shortly after Dennis landed his second of the day when a nice 2.11 jumped on his black swimming senko. Then I followed right up with a 2.1. Then all of a sudden it got dark, so at the time i pulled out my phone and checked the radar. I immediatly told him we have to get off the water and before he could ask why, it starting pouring down rainnnig. Not only was it rainning SUPER hard but the wind had to be 30-40 mph. After we made it back to the boat ramp safely the rain slowed down. After we got the boat together, we fished fished from the shore, where I landed the last two fish of the day.
After all that, I'll call it a good day of fishing!!!
