LUCKY, THERES ON WHERE LIKE THAT REALLY IN SOCAL... good catches with cold temps!!!!

I think bass fishing is better in Socal but I could be wrong but I definitly know Cali has better bass fishing then NJ.

yes but be ready for bass fishing to go down the tubes that storm is bringing one mean cold front
This is my time of year the bass bite quits, I got my last few topwater bass last night one 3 pounder and 4.5 on a buzzy. today 40-50 mph winds stopped me from salmon fishing, but after sitting here and watching the camera at the dam all night I will be there tomorrow rain or shine.

The bass bite is not going down hill quite yet, falling feeding hasnt came yet. So stay tuned!!

I should cross the 5lb mark by the time October is over :headbang2.

Well I took the little one out on Sunday for a little fishing. She was using a senko wacky rigged. While she was dragging it along the bottom, she said very nonchalantly "I got a fish, I can't wait to see it." Watching her line, there wasn't much movement so I grabbed ahold of her line and it took off to the right. So I told her to reel it in, and when she finally got it in, this is what was on the end of her Barbie fishing pole

She said she was going to catch a big one like me. Well to her this was her BIG FISH

SPOTS FISHED-1

TIME FISHED-8.5 HRS

FISH LANDED-I-11/Dennis-2

Well I woke up and was feeling alittle sick so I called off of work today(STUPID). About a hour later I woke up bored so I called my boy Dennis to see if he wanted to go fishing. Are journey started at 9am at the main lake of the "Assunpink" system.

I landed my first on my thrid cast, then missed alittle one on my next cast. About 30 minutes later Dennis landed his first. After that it went dry. The bite didnt return until 230 just like the "Moon clock" said it would. Around that time I got bored out of my mind tring to fish the deep water with the worm so we pulled up the unchor and I begun my stick and move tactic. I landed my second shortly after. Within the next hour I landed 5 more, all coming on the white spinny. Alittle bit of time went by before we seen any more action. I then landed another bass. Shortly after Dennis landed his second of the day when a nice 2.11 jumped on his black swimming senko. Then I followed right up with a 2.1. Then all of a sudden it got dark, so at the time i pulled out my phone and checked the radar. I immediatly told him we have to get off the water and before he could ask why, it starting pouring down rainnnig. Not only was it rainning SUPER hard but the wind had to be 30-40 mph. After we made it back to the boat ramp safely the rain slowed down. After we got the boat together, we fished fished from the shore, where I landed the last two fish of the day.

After all that, I'll call it a good day of fishing!!!

~~~~~~FISH MORE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~STRESS LESS~~~~~~~~
true but its going to take a good 2-3 weeks till that even starts, the temps have to stabilize first.
Picked up this 9lbs channel cat. Anyone want it for their tank?? lol
Got a few smaller ones in the 6-8lbs range also. Weather has been real windy this summer and the fishing was a bit off. Still managed lotsa perch, bass, and bluegill though! Cheers.
I went to my regular spot today to kill time catching bluegill. I took a cane pole and some bread, but not a camera. So of course I got a 15-16" LMB. With bread. On a cane pole. :screwy: I dont know what he was thinking.
I snapped a couple pics with my cell and Im going to see if a friend can email them to me if I msg them to his phone (mines really old). But just in case that doesn't work out I wanted to go ahead and vent.
