I went to the lake yesterday to drop off a snapping turtle and while i was there thought might as well look around and right on the dock next to the boat ramp there is a big 5 pound female with a small male following her but i didnt bring my fishing rod so i couldnt do anything.FISHING SEASON 09!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today was another bad day, the white spinner has yet to catch me anything, i also went out and got a green spinner and another lure with a big metal piece that spins to keep the lure above water, both failed also.
i agree with the above, today was terribly slow for bass, i went back to the same pond as last time, where i always go. There were 3 other guys there and none of them caught anything. But i on the other hand am i winner.
hes no bass but he hit on my tube anyways. i thought he was gonna break my line, i had seen a huge carp swin by a minute before hand and i knew he could break my cheapo line if he really wanted. thankfully it wasnt him, but this fat (i mean obese, he was fatter than i am) catfish got hooked. i also caught a small sunfish and a decent crappie on the same tube.

I would like to to start my update off by saying, when it comes to getting stuff done dont let the woman do it.
I didnt plan on going fishing today cause my wife and i had a meeting to take care of at 5 and then i planned on going to work on the baot for alittle while. Well when she didnt arrive on time and the office closed, it was to late for me to make it to the boat store before they closed.
Well on my way home i said "F it i might as well stop and get some fishing in". The spot i choose is the same spot from the first post of this thread. I got there at 6:15 and on my first cast i had 2 blow ups on the buzzy. I was able to get two bass in that spot then i moved down the shore line about 100 ft. Once i reached the spot i wanted to, i throw the buzzy parrellel and nothing reacted but a nice 2 pounder must of been in the brush and seen the buzzy and and came out but decided against striking it. So i took my other pole with a husky jerk bait tied on it and tied on a 10" U-tail hooked finess style and threw it back in the same direction he had came from. I let it sink and jurked it a couple time but nothing so i reeled it in alittle and then stopped it, the bass came right up behind it, looked at for a quick second then inhaled it BAM got a lovely hook set on him. I didnt get to take a picture of the fish cause when i reached for my phone he jumped off the hook and with two quick flops he made it to the water and swam off
. I was able to land one more on the buzzy before i left.
I didnt catch anything too big today but for the short time i fished, ill say it was a decent fishing day

yea, that was like the biggest cat ive ever caught, used to catching little 8 or less inchers. im missing the plastic eyelid at the end of my rod too so the string is weak from rubbing against it, whenever i tye a swivel on i end of breaking the line before its even tied.
you have alot of hair.
