FISH LANDED-TOTAL-6/ME-5/BRUH-1

Today i gave wifey the day so no boat for me, but after i got home big bruh and i went and looked at some new spots for tomorrow.

As i stated in the last post the T-storms have been on and off for a few days now. Its great for bass fishing cause if you are out there in between the heavy pour downs at the right hours it can be "heaven".

Once we found the lake for tomorrow, plus an addictional lake that is fed off of tomorrows lake of choice(Farrington Lake), we stopped at a spot that we have only been to a few times in the past right before it got dark. I banged two small bass right off the back, the third bass should have been a decent two pounder but i missed it thinking i could get him threw a tree from about 60ft :irked:. At that point i knew the fish were bitting but big bruh on the other hand had lost two of baits and gave up. Not me i know if i kept threwing that 1/4oz white with red spots "Buzzy" i had a good chance of landing something else. I went on to landed 3 more bass, with two of them being decent size 2 pounders. By the time i caught up big bruh he was using my other pole from the truck with a new lure im tring out on it(big popper), he banged a small bass on it before we called it quits.

Only landed 5 but i missed two beast all within a hour and a half, plus all top water, it was fun!!

well I got up extra early today to see if the early bird can catch the worms (They should change that to late night bird I was up untill midnight catching nightcrawlers). Anyways heading to the pier of St. Joesph MI to fish for skamaina. I've never caught a skamania of the pier but at the river I am one of the gurus and have caught more skamania they anyone of you could even imagine. So I heard in the local fishing report that they were getting some so I got up extra early to go see if I can beat the usuals at the pier.

well today was a learning day I learned several otherways to fish for skamania. Only one skamania was caught this moarning on a bobber with shrimp for bait. Me and my friends caught lots of freshwater drum and 1 channel catfish. There was a few smallmouth bass caught, a flathead catfish and a lake sturgeon.

WATER TEMP-?? (FISHFINDER STOPPED WORKING)

SPOTS FISHED-1

TIME FISHED-8 HRS

FISH LANDED-8-TOTAL/ME-8/BRUH-0

Well as i stated yesterday the lake of chioce for today was "Farrington Lake"

I would like to start todays update by saying " the frog is killing them right know"

Even tho i only landed 8 fish, i missed way more then i landed :irked:. I have been using the frog real heavy lately and the bass and CP's are straight killing it but since i fish it weedless it makes it kinda hard to get a hook set specially when its a small fish. The water was kinda muddy but the lake shows MAJOR potential. Big bruh went all day without even getting a bite, cause he refused to use the frog. He finally had one on about 7:30 on a white spinner bait but it jumped off. I missed two decent bass, one came as i was bringing the frog threw some FRY, and the other came right before we quit on the buzzy but both fish were able to jump off :irked::irked:.

Alitttle disappointed with the # of fish landed today but ha its all a learning process!!

A skamania is a sub species of the steelhead. Unlike steelhead, skamania run and spawn in the streams during the early-mid summer months.
