It was a great bass fishing day, was raining on and off with little wind.
wowzers I just had a decent hour and I'll have a update from today and yesterdays crappy outting coming soon as i get hometomorrow iam headed of to the pier to catch freshwater drum, catfish and most of all skamania wish me luck.
Finally found someone to go fishing with, only took all damn day. It was rainin hard. So we skipped the first spot and went to the pier. No luck, for me or anyone else there, my boy caught 2 bluegill but nothing to brag about. The sky opened up and we headed back to the first spot, an old railroad bridge. 2nd cast, and bam? i thought it was a bluegill but when i finally pulled it out i was like damn, thats a bass. Hoisted him up the side, my very first smallmouth bass ever. 15" and around 2lbs. i was dissapointed by the lack of fight, maybe this one was just lazy. All i caught all day but at least i caught something.

Its has been raining around here off and on for about 3 days, so i decided to go to are E.Brunswick spot since its a man-made lake meaning the water will be clear.
The water was clear as always. I banged to three small bass and pne small CP. I had plenty of little CP's running down all day long. My nephew got mad amd stopped fishing. I was alittle upset the fish werent bitting that much also but i live by the motto "keep casting". I had a big CP hop on the weedless frog(YUM) but when i set the hook all i had was the line, the CP cut the line when he banged on it. That action was the best all day.
Alitttle upset they werent really biting much but its better then a shunk!!

Nice smallie. Smallies are great, and they usually put up a good fight but every now and then there are lazy ones lol.
