lol I could find a pic on the net and post it. I went and got the new gloomis steelhead rod last night, 9 foot 8.

I know the winter run on the ST. joe can produce some monster walleyes. But even in Mich. 27 inch land lock walleye don't grow on trees there either.

I can think of two local ones one does have a river tho so its not land locked.

Well, i didn't the big one.
BUT MY FISHING PARTNER DID.

Yessir! Soon as we get there, he gets to casting before i do. I throw my first cast and bam, he like hell yea! get the measuring tape. I dont think ive ever seen one this big in person. This bad boy was 19 inches and well over 4 pounds.

i on the other hand, didnt catch dog****.

Woke up early and was fishing at 6am.

Due to the heavy amount of grass, forage, and water temp pecking at 81.9, it made for a slow day.

I banged my first one after about threes hours and forty five minutes . Around 1:30 the bite tried to increase and i landed 3 before 2:00 rolled around. My nephew didnt stay focused and wasnt able to land anything.

Slow day but its better then going to work!!
