Some time i have to cause ill have to hold there mouths open to remove 2-3 trouble hooks.
AIR TEMP-H-50/L-32
WATER TEMP-Came in at 47.3 at 1:47pm
SPOTS FISHED-2-One on the boat from 1:30 till 5:30 and one fished for 45 minutes on the way home.
FISH CAUGHT-3-I got two and bro got one
Brother came over at 11 something and we left out at 1. We were on the water by 1:30. Went back to my favorite spot that was talked about in my update from 3/17/09. So by 1:40 first fish was in the boat, a nice 15"er. So we were thinking it was going to by a very good day but since this was my brothers first time on are favorite spot he wanted to go all the way to the back of the finger. I told him that the fish seemed to be in the front part of the finger but he didnt want to listen plus he was the captain today so we wasted 2 hours in the back part of the lake and neither of us even got a bite. You should know i told him "told you so". So we traveled all the way back to the shore and packed it up for the day. As we were pulling off he said "man i need to catch a fish" so we went to another spot before returning back to my house. He was able to catch a little one. I hadnt got a bite and was getting alittle restless with just casting and casting without getting nothing and was ready to go. As i was asking him was he ready to go "BAM " a monster came and hit my lure like ten feet before the shore line. The fish weighed 3.7lbs. It helped but it was still a slow day.
Well this concluded my fishing trip of the day.

you have just convinced me to go fishing today. I'm up in MA, so hopefully things will work out!
Going to go again today later going to be the 3 trip of the week. I keep what i catch out of lake maintenance. Just to many small fish and the fisheries biologist says not enough forage. So we have to remove about 4000 bass this year.
i went today and caught nothing of course i wasnt bassin because seasons closed, i was fishing lake MI, surf fishing.
well now that they day is done i have done 3 types of fishing first i fished lake MI nothing, so then later i went and fished for steelhead at the river again nothing. So then i went out back fishing i caught some small chubs in the creek then i walked to a small private pond where i fished I caught two bluegill then i tied on a rattle trap hopeing to catch some crappieMultispeciesTamer;2933582; said:

. Which of corse i took pics of then imediatly released. I dont have time to post pics now but maybe tomorrow or later tonight. they were all keeper sized i would say 1, 1 pounder and the others were both 2+ pounds.Caught three kept them in the freezer now. So weekend total is 10 bass and a green sunfish of large size. All of them are chilling in the freezer and will make a excellent fish fry with a side of hush puppies.

What you talking about i fish a pristine private deep water lake fish are in general very mild in flavor except the jumbo ones. Also just like 5 minutes away we have a trout riever the Chatahooche stocked rainbows and wild browns.
