That sucks I would have to say I fish more dec-mar then most other times of the year. I am not talking ice fishing either. The main river near my house dosnt freeze and monster walleye as I am sure Ive posted a few pics of mine and other people from the river are abundent in these freezing temperatures. This year I am going to give brown and lake trout a try I hear 20 pound browns are quite common during the winter and Lakers (lake trout) big enough to drag me in .

I am a goofball fisherman and yet have gotten so used to going at least one day during the weekend that when cant go. I miss it.

Even days I dont fish during lunch for an hour I miss lol

Imagine you count the days till you can go again .

FISH LANDED-2 :irked:

Wanted to go out to my lakewood spot but i couldnt find anybody to come along for the ride. Settled for lake right by my house. Its an hard lake to fish. Today being no different. This is a fairly small lake but cause of that, the water temp was very high(84). Im thinking that im going to try and learn this spot cause i have never caught anything over 2 pounds. I know there has to be some bigs one in there cause i have landed alot of small bass before. There is a fish story from June 12th saying that someone caught the state record bass out of this spot. The story says he called the park ranger but he told him that he had to release it cause open season for the bass didnt start until June 15th and that it counldt count. Here in NJ the state record is 10.14 and hass been standing since 1982, the bass in question was supposedly 11.4. I can see a big one being in this lake but i have never landed a bass bigger then 2.4. The only thing real big i ever had on got away. So im going to apply more presure to see if i can a get monster out of it and since its so close to my house i will try and get there like 4 AM. With water temps in the mid 80's, getting on the water super early is my best chance to land monster.

The buzzy was able to land two small bass before i called it quits.

Very upset about todays outting but im taking this as a challange!!

Ive never been able to master the fall/winter bassin but I have caught Bass as late as January. Rattle traps and deep diving crankbaits are the way to go tho Ive heard.

FISH LANDED-2

Stopped for ten minutes this morning at little pond by my job. On the last cast(buzzy) i banged a 12"er and went off to work.

On the way home i met up with big bruh at are Hamilton spot. We fished for 45 minutes, i was able to bang one 12"er on the popper(Pic).

Just messing around today but you never know what tomorrow will bring!!

According to my new tool (Moon Clock) between 6 and 8 is the best PM time to go fishing on 7/29/09. I have went back this year and looked at some of the times that i have caught fish and the moon clock is on point. 7 out of 10 times the time of the pictures is in there time bracket. I also have alot of catches either a hour before or a hour after the so called best time to be fishing. The clock gives you 4 best times of the day. They break it down into to parts, good time and excellent time. Each one has a AM & PM time bringging the total number of best fishing times to 4.
I not going to live my fishing life by it but it does have logic and my pictures show some proff. Plus everybody knows the first full moon and new moon seems to produce alot of fish activity.
