Great catch but thats way to cold for me and many others. Today it was 75 degrees at 6 am when I went to the gym and thought about walking back inside and putting on a sweater .

Found it tad chilly .

FISH LANDED-5 :irked:

Well at the moment im seasoning whitting and cooking seafood gumbo for my family reunion tomorrow.

So as promised, i put some pressure on the spot around the corner from the house today. The motor was in motion around 3:10. On my thrid cast a decent size CP jumped on the buzzy!! After that i caught 3 little bass and a decent 2.12 bass before the rain started. I waited about 2 and a half hours for the storm to pass. While i was waitting i grabbed the stupid bait caster and got the birds nest out of it. In between heavy down pours i went and tried to cast it a bit, that didnt go to well so i gave it up and put it back in the truck where it probaly will stay for good now. After the rain finally stopped i hopped back on the boat and got back at it. Missed a couple little ones but due to the water going from green to BROWN i wasnt able to land anymore fish.

Rain killed the day but ha i still had fun!!!

Went to a new spot last night. I had to walk through tall weeds and muddy banks just to get down to the water. The wind was hectic and all I had with me were a couple of topwater baits. I finally was able to find a nice lil cove to fish in. I kept throwing to this one spot, I could see some fish moving in and out, but they were being stubborn and not biting. So I just kept throwing at different angles, changing the presentation. And finally this one bit. He hit real hard and almost got away as when I lifted him out of the water, the hook came out, but I was able to grab him and get a picture before I released him

FISH LANDED-10-TOTAL- ME-9/Nephew-1

Waited out the storm until 2:30 but it was still rainning for about an hour after we launched. I set out to hit double digits today. I landed 4 bass and one perch quicky. Number 6 should've been a monster CP(4lb+) but it shook off :irked::irked:. My nephew did his usual and lost focuse early into the trip but his lucky behind landed a big CP mistakenly. He had a "dinger" by yum just hanging over the side and the CP came up and smashed it on top of the water. After that i banged 3 bass and 1 CP. I could not hit the 10 make for nothing but its my fault cause i let 2 get off at the boat.

Missed the biggest of the day but i really enjoyed myself !!!!!!!
