Just got back from the pond, caught a pretty big bass (by my standards) on a hotdog! Just like my buddy did.We measured it as 17 inches long. I was pretty amazed, I had just bought a spinner like cichlid fiend said, but didnt put it on and just used a hot dog. Pics soon.

Very nice bass it looks to be about 2 pounds,ill say maybe like 2.5lbs and get the 1/4oz spinner bait with one small silver blade and the gold blade on the back but booya is the only company i use for spinner baits. Also try 1/4oz buzz bait by strike king.

BTW- keep it up and one day we should get up and go out together

In that last pic i see a grass build up if you ever go out there in the middle of a very hot day i would suggest a black and yellow frog made by YUM tied on finness style.

I throw lure after lure in front of big LMB here and nothing might actually try a hot dog.

Yeah i dont know anything about lures, you said white spinner so i just went out and bought what i thought you meant . I'm not sure how to even use the thing! But yeah we could definitely go out sometime, my friend and I would love to get out of the pond and fish a lake.

how far are you from exit 8 on the turnpike?
