Dam what part of the Joe did you pull thos out of? I bet they tasted great. Also did they have good eggs/milt?

I caught those in Trail Creek in Michigan city Indiana.

The water temps are pretty low for being July so they released strong so I have no clue on row or milt.
oh so there down that far already. tis tis tis ill hope for the best, for the released fish :(.

Not much of a catch, since it was a little pond that are stocked full of small cichlids, I think they are jewels. So I grabbed my gear, went to walmart and was looking for some 1/4 ounce beetle spinners. Well they didn't have what I was looking for, but they had some curly tail grubs, I grabbed a pack of 1/4 ounce weighted hooks, and a pack of spinners and made my own. I like fishing with the chartreuse colors, so that will work fine. Total time at the pond was an hour and I banged these two lil LMB. Here are a couple of shotty pics from the cell phone

Good stuff boss!!!

Those are decent size bass for NJ, but for TX i quess they are considerd small ones, specially with 8-10 pounders being caught every year, damn i live in the wrong state.

I guess for this lil pond that I was at, it was decent. I think there are some bigger ones in there, I will just have to go to a different lure to get to them. I think I will try my hand at fishing with plastic worms. I've been fishing all of my 40 years, and will be the first time. Now the ones you and ya brutha are catching, I want to land a few of those so I can get to your status :headbang2

In clear water and with water temps over 75, a slow presention with rubber worms are the ticket.

BTW- THANKS, we put alot of time in with this bass fishing sport. I myself go out 4-6 times a week.

Thanks for the tip. The water was very very clear that day, and I did slow down my retrieve and the next thing you know, these two hit pretty hard. So off I go after work to get a few worms and slip sinkers

FISH LANDED-2

Well with recession in full swing i didnt have to work today. So i went out in heavy rain to this privite pond in my complex. This pond is fulled to the bream with bass, in the past i have caught 27 bass in 2 hrs, banged 7 in a row that day.

The water wasnt the clearest and the rain was coming down pretty hard, but i hopped out the car with only one pole with my salt and pepper buzzy tied on it. I had about 10 blow ups from reall small ones and was able to land 2 12"ers in one walk around.

Nothing big this morning but its ok cause the rain is about to stop and im taking the boat out to my lakewood spot!!!

also to add to what he CF said in clear water use dark more natural colors dont use bright odd ball colors.
