looks like alot of fun. over here in socal you can't use those kinds of bait. bass down here don't take 'em during the day. some lures might work at night but for day, you gotta use live crawdad.

Didnt get up early like i wanted to today, so my fishing day didnt start until 4:30pm.
Returned back to my Lakewood spot but with water temps reaching 85, it made for a long slow day. I went almost 2 hours before i even had a bite. Finally landed one at 7:30. Had alitlle rush after that by catching 2 more and missing one. Once the sun went down, instead of leaving i went and changed to a new battery. Like 9 out of 10 times "NIGHT TIME FISHING SUCKS". Tried very hard to catch something but no such luck.
I have fished pass pitch black about 5 times, and only one time the fishing was good. Last year i stayed on the water until 2:30am with big bruh sleep(drunk) and only mananged to land 4 small ones. Anyway i said all that to say again night time bass fishing sucks.
Very slow day but in about 4 hrs i will be testing my skill and luck again!!

But oh well, If it's a small area you could always try again.
