The pigment change on that bluegill is cool.

Actually it's probably a Shellcracker which is very simular in appearance, but to us there all the same Bluegills/Sunfish/Shellcrackers. They can get pretty large here we have caught them to 3/4 of a pound and I think the State record is like 3+ lbs. They can puut up a good fight too.

My dad thinks them and Crappie are the best eating. So we don't always throw them back, sometimes though.

I don't know about bluegills but crappie and yellow perch are the best tasting freshwater fish out there plus I wouldnt eat a bass. For all of you that do shame on you but long as it isn't in my area, who cares...... Lol!!

Here is a nice one.

Sweet, that's why I go down to Florida there's year round fishing there too.

Another reason i enjoy fishing in Florida is that you never know whatelse may come up. I have caught many a Snook in the same waters where I'm fishing for LMB, hell I've witnessed Bull Sharks and Tarpon in the of the the areas I've fished for Bass in Florida. And while Bass put up a good fight there's nothing like getting a good sized Snook on line, man let me tell you Monster fighters especially if your not using a leader.

As you can see this one spot has year round fingerling Snook in it.

Ok thanx :) Like I said there all the same Panfish, we keep a few for my dad. We marvel at there sizes and we call them the tie breakers if we end up in a tie.

Catch'N Bass gotta love it!

We've done like 63 Bass in 6.5hrs @ this city of Many Lakes area.
Sometimes when the Bass start feeding you can see them going after your lure two and three fish at a time just chasing the lure, we've had a few double headers when that happens.

And there not small fish either.

Here's another example of never knowing what you may catch......Tilapia.
