caught my first fish today,an 8inch roach.
Pike where lazy,one was trying to steal my sardine for almost 15minutes and then left with the sardine.

2010 was a funny season for me.
1.My Uncle lost a 25+pound Pike.
2.I cought my first pike.
3.(and my favourite memory of 2010) I cought a Barbeque grill thing IT WAS SOO FUNNY!!!!

Fish landed-6
3-10 I did a quick hour in light rain at "AMC". After tring everything, I said "lets drop the presentation size down. So I took off the 3/8 spinny and switched to the #5 Mepps. Thrid cast a little bass hit it as I was pulling it out the water. I went on to land two fish before quitting for the day !!!
Today I woke up hung over and headed out around ten. First stop of the day was "Bakers Basin". Big bruh and I were out there and nothing was happening but then we seen something ran down on a bait fish or something at the top of the water. So I walk over there and BAM fifth cast decent 12"er jumped on the inline ! We didnt see anymore action so we hopped over to "AMC" were I was to land 3 and big bruh got 2 !!
Fishing is the ish !!!

Well weather is starting to look good now so im looking to get a new baitcast setup. So far im stuck on the Abu Garcia Revo but im not sure where I want to go as far as rod. What do you all think? Also not sure if I want to go braided line or fluorocarbon or monofilament...
get the veritas, everyone ive talked to loves theres. I just waiting for tax money to buy mine i think.
I'd like to get a nice two piece rod so I can keep it under my back seat of the truck and I will be getting a veritas for sure but I need something that I can break down.

amc got some decent fish in there but right now u should hit up rosedale by the runoff part for 2 pound crappie cuz the bite should be hot right now!!!

Thought about rosedale lately but far as early season spots go for bass its not in the top five. Your right the crappie should be biting, but IDk about two pounders tho !
