Fish landed-2

Last night was probably my last night fishing adventure. It rained for most of the trip and at 1:30 I couldn't take nomore. I banged two, missed two, my cousin Billy landed one and missed one.......

Today was a skunk for the whole boat(3). There wasn't any fish of size out today but I did learn something from a old timer that caught about 15 while we were right beside him. He was catching small bass, crappie, and small CP in the same areas we were casting using a small jig head with a 1" tube. Seeing that blow me away but he made a lot of sense. He told us that most of the fish are feeding on small fry and he had to be right cause we didn't have one bite from 10-1:45pm and he was pulling fish out left and right......

The rain needs to stop for atleast a week cause its messing with the water temp toooo much....

Man you cats have really put it to them this year. For me, I've not had a good day since early summer. The heat here in Texas has been absolutely ridiculous and I've refused to get on the water in this heat. Night fishing has been out for me, as I've kept a hectic schedule at work. I did get a chance to go out and chase some hybrids this year

the river is so high and muddy right now its hard to fish, caught a 2 channels and a flathead last night, not big though

nice works fellas. Went last night and had one really nice run that I missed because my hook doubled over back inside my bait. bummer. Did run across what I believe are cougar prints.

went out last night to catfish for about an hour, friend missed one good hit but we didnt catch anything

quite possibly hitting the river tomorrow night pending wind. looks to be in our favor as of right now. taking my girlfriend again, heres hoping lightning strikes twice.

sucked. still running alot of water through the dam and the wind was blowing pretty strong. we managed 2 small keeper rockfish 19-21" and a handful of ehh channel cats. nothing impressive

At least you got some action. You call striped bass rockfish right? Never caught one before.

Updated the south Florida fishing thread. Didn't do too bad yesterday. Caught 3 peacocks and lost 2 more to weeds and lots of other cichlids.
