Yeah overall on sunday we fished a wreck for sea bass for around four hours and we were in them thick. Fish finder was black from five feet above the wreck to the bottom. Every drop you had a double or a keeper. We were throwing keepers right on the deck so you could rebait and drop right back down quickly it was complete chaos. Between three of us combined with shorts and keepers easily +100 fish day. It was a once in a lifetime kind of day until we ran out of bait which wasnt bad because we were starting to get bored of it. Eventually moved off the beach looking for stripers on schools of bunker couldnt get any so headed in. Monday went back to the wreck fish werent as thick had a huge dogfish problem but boxed six in probably 20 minutes. Then went closer to the beach and north and found large schools of bunker and began to snag and drop them. Had a nice spread of live bunker out and I was chasing mine around the boat had my rod in my had and next thing i know he got picked up and half of my Cedros spool was gone. Cleared the lines fought the fish and my buddy had a nice gaff shot right on the gill plate. Its a shame the fish threw up around five pounds worth of bunker before we stuck him thats why he looks lean. One of the few boats that boxed one and came mid morning which isnt too normal but I'll take it anyday haha.
