Where are you fishing. PM me and I can hook you up with some good spots for snakeheads and peacocks. Even the lakes loaded with cichlids have a lot of bass.

I don't know if I should post the picture since the fish aint bass or catfish or saltwater fish lol but here it is!

Never caught a yellow perch worth filleting but they sure are a pretty fish and I hear very delicious. Ive caught a 15 pound flathead on a 8" one before haha

don't think i've seen anybody on this forum from arkansas, but if you're fishing a rock jetty I would assume the fishing is similar to how it is up here in NC. if you can get ahold of some live mud minnows finger mullet or menhaden (pogy) you should be able to hook up on some flounder/drum or trout (dunno what is inshore what seasons there, but there's a good shot for at least one or two of those 3) - baitshrimp will help you hook up with black drum/sea mullet if they're around but you'll also have to deal with bait stealers. I wish I knew more about where you were going but I hope that you put some in the cooler! good luck!

nice perch man, we get a good run of them every year here in the susquehanna and northeast rivers. My eventual goal is to get a citation for every kind of fish in the state. Obviously this is taking some time but the perch have been eluding me, citation length is 14" and caught a few 13" but never more than that. maybe this fall ill get one.
