sounds good bud, if you head over there fairly early saturday lemme know, i gotta be at work at 3:30 so as long as i can get rollin before 2 or so i may be able to swing by and throw a line in with ya for a bit. how far is that from lake johnson?

justin when are you going to start throwing out baits for flatties? I think our waters should be close to the same temperature range. It was 46 last week but was cold 2 days and now warm again and supposed to be 70's next week. Its a bit early for them, but not too early to be thinking about it. Once that water hits 50-55, I think its fair game. We have had a really warm winter, so they should be moving a bit sooner and probably spawning a bit sooner as well.
 
the susquehanna is between 44 and 45 degrees right now, so id say yea were pretty close to the same. Id say technically i throw baits for them all year. Channel cats love to hit on cut bluegill and live ones just the same. As far as really targetting them itll depend on what the word is. Theres alot of guys who fish for them upriver, once they start to get into them where they are more common, ill try to start getting into some.

Hit the pier tonight, was finally able to get a few chubs for bait, and while they did catch a few fish the big one came on shrimp. Weighed in at 9.10 lbs feels good man
