better yet, go to google maps and search for 39.601036,-76.112978 should come up with 79 S Main Street, Port Deposit MD. It kind of in a hook shape. They put it in a really good place with lots of varying depths and structure. The inside of the pier is good for crappie/bass/sunfish. The rocks underneath the pier keep the current from being so strong inside, and let the grasses grow up in the summer

ill try to get some pics next time im there, prob sunday.

it wont let me copy and paste that! Oh i see. How deep is that out there? Is it a relatively deep hole or a run?

hard to explain. on the side that is parallel with the river towards the end of the pier is about 17ft, give or take with the tide, and the side were in comes back to land that at an angle is about 12-8 feet deep. The inside is around 8ft. Sometimes the tide is pretty strong and raises the water sometimes close to 3 ft above normal.

Half mile down river is one of my favorite channel cat holes. interstate 95 crosses there and inbetween the 2nd and 3rd pillar for the bridge is a hole that slopes pretty strong from 28ft to 40ft. We caught so many 5+lbers there. many in the 8's a 9 or two and a 11. I really want to get a new pb channel, 13lb 12oz just seems small now.

Spent my entire day moving my recently obtained fishboat from the sellers house to a friends house.
Did have a short period of time left to try it out,and I'm not 100% happy.
The boat isn't as stable as I thought it would be,and it's not possible to place the trolling motor and the normal motor behind the boat at the same time.
Especially the last thing is really bothering me,now I have to choose between speed and noise,or really slow and no noise while you really need both.
Did manage to hook one nice sized pike but it fell off close to the boat.

It's nothing like a 5 foot beam and flat bottom when it comes to small boats for stable ability....

sucks jworth...

headed out this morning and didnt catch anything but a literally 6" bass for a few hours and then in a one hour period hooked up with 5 bass, 4 in the 1lb range and the biggest being about 2lbs. no monsters to report today, last 5 bass (and another i missed) came on a fire tiger clack-n-rap. ended up snagging it, pissed about that..

went to lake raleigh for the evening and caught a couple small 1' channel cats and missed a couple other decent bites, got skunked on the crappie with 4 rods in the water, one kid caught a 10" that was real real fat but that was it.
