Just because I cant sleep and I'm bored... heres my rod arsenal for the year. Will be adding another Tangling with Catfish if I scrounge up the money, if not another Ugly Cat. My 2 12' Classic Carp rods in the back, 2.75 lb test curve ;)

very nice man, when i get ahold of my girlfriends camera i will get some gear shots snapped! - that tangling with catfish rod looks sick!

Its pretty sweet... Its 7'6" 1-piece e glass blank, cork handles, aluminum threaded reel seat and 1-piece stainless steel eyes. The black one sitting next to it (r2 war rod) has the same hardware but the reel seat is detachable and has a gimbal on the bottom with a rubber cap and is 8' and seems to have a more responsive tip. I simply prefer the 7'6" length mostly because I am not used to the longer rod. I actually prefer a 7' but that isnt the greatest fishing from shore. The TWC Extreme is rated up to 12 oz but have seen it throw more. The War Rod I have seen a video of the owner of the company easily throwing 72 oz and getting good distance, but it still has an amazingly soft tip. Makes my Ugly Stik look pretty laughable, but those land fish too.

The Ugly cats are nice... I like the white blank and how the 7' are one piece. I havent found a bad review on them either and there are a lot of people on the Ohio River over here that use them for blues and flatheads.

I like the softer tip on the War Rod better but I like the look of the TWC better and the fact that the butt is attached not a cap like the r2, Ill never use the gimbal and if I lose that cap, I'll be super pissed. I also like the 7'6" more than the 8' but dont really care about the 6" difference. TWC is cheaper and if you are ordering several will only run you $70 each after shipping. Its also lighter weight but as you know, we don't do too much casting anyways. Haven't fished either rod yet. Will be warming them up on some channels come March, but even the biggest channels that I will find will not even be a good test. I got these for flathead fishing.

Have heard great things about the Tigers.

cant wait for tax returns.... its simply a trip to bass pro in the making

oh i will... this will be my first fill years worth of work for a tax return, in highschool i didnt work because of football and i only worked seasonal jobs before getting my job at petsmart last october. Thinkin i should get at least 250-300 i dont really know how it works, may be less may be more still gotta get my W2. regardless i plan to put half in savings and the other half to BPS ;)

Sounds like a plan!! I got a baby on the way in April and I'm just hoping that I can muster up enough time to fish enough. If I can talk my 4 year old into going most of the time then I should be in the clear.

ouch, yeah if you can get one of the kids out of the house you should be able to find some time, otherwise might be a couple years of bein locked down =c
