Fishing on west lake Toho about 15-20 miles south of Orlando. It's been nice actually being out of the cold ad able to fish. Landed a 2.5-3 this morning and a ton more gar. Missed a lot again but always just assume its gar and I am pulling it out of thier mouths when that happens. Hoping I can net more bait so I can go tonight.
 
or.. you could use artificials and avoid most of those gar ;)
 
I have got gar and an alligator on a money craw before. Anything other than Texas rigged plastics are difficult on account of vegetation here. This time of year it's more difficult to land fish on artificials since they are not feeding as aggressively. It's almost pre spawn here if it hasn't already started and the biiger the live bait the better. It's a fact that 90% of te 10 lbers and up have come from live shiners.

got my first 2 catfish of the year, both bullheads about a pound
 
well i dindt makes the damn footlall team at states so i went fishign and caught 3 crapopiei and a lil bas son a crankbait and i caught me a buzzzzzzzzzz
 
Where were you trying out? Didn't get any fishing in today (spent all day at Disney magic kingdom) but I'll be after them bright and early.
 
Sorry to hear that "J". On a brighter note I landed a spinner bait bass today, just a pounder but the way he hit it you'll think it was a five pounder, lol !!!!
