How do you like your Hobie? They are amazing machines and the best kayak for fishing hands down!

I love it them. I now have four Hobies. I am running a kayak fishing guide service now out of them.

I use to live in KY a few years ago but man salt water fishing is where its at.

nice tilefish.... not only do they require the depth but also the right type of muddy bottom. yummy critters!! they hit like a jumbo tog and than slowly turn into a five gallon bucket.. lol good deal.... now you have to go deeper, find some barrel fish and some rose fish

I feel for you yanks having to deal with that cold. I went out in the Gulf this morning on my kayak in shorts. Got sun burnt, caught some flounder, snapper, bobos and a few other fish, hit the beach on the way in and watched the cuties in bikinis before hauling my yak to the jeep. Life is good in paradise.

Never complains about the Minnesotan cold! Warm and toasty in a permanment fishhouse...big tv....beers.....Xbox...big bunk beds...plus the ladies dig the big fancy fishhouse.

I told my girlfriend at the time (now my wife) that I was leaving for Florida and was hoping she would come. It was in the works and she got pregnant and we ended up staying... Sigh...

i love this thread. nice fish guys! i still need to get my license for 2013 so all ive been doing is trout fishing...cant wait to get back into the bay.
