Cool action shot from today battling about a six foot sandbar shark.

Also landed a couple "Trophy" size red snapper to extend our teams lead in Kayak Wars.

Well today didnt go as planned. We had a waist to chest high shore break. The waves were clean and coming in clear sets. I figured we could make a break for it in between sets. I go for it and took an unintended swim at eight in the morning in February after getting my rear handed to me by a big roller, luckily the Gulf is already starting to warm and the air was pretty warm as well. On my second attempt I made it out.

It was a SLOW bite, managed four flounder, a bonita and a snapper but not "trophy" size so I didnt upload for KW yet.

From head on a flounder looks a bit like a piranha huh?

Your Ravens? Im the one in baltimore right now. Its been crazy! Everyone is nuts!

I find it funny that even people here like to trash talk Joe Flacco. Ive been wearing his jersey for years. Now hes getting the respect he deserves.

diehard fan since i was a kid, really wanted to make the drive up for the parade but couldnt swing the gas money, cam cameron was holding joe back for years. hopefully he can continue his postseason success in to the regular season and get him signed to a deal that allows us to bring back some of our other free agents

They will sign him, no doubt. My girlfriend went to the parade with some friends. i skipped, i hate crowds. She said it was insane. She made it into the stadium and got to hang out on the field. I was jealous, i would of sucked it up for that. Always next year i guess.
 
Went out last week for the first time,caught a nice sized pike and a total of 4,my buddy banged 2 so we are already at a total of 6 in just 3hours of fishing.
Sadly the cold weather has returned so fishing will be impossible due to a small layer of ice.
From this season on I wil only make pictures of pikes over 30inch so no more small pikes from me in this topic:)
