I told my girlfriend at the time (now my wife) that I was leaving for Florida and was hoping she would come. It was in the works and she got pregnant and we ended up staying... Sigh...

That happened to us, except for we saved some money and just did it. We decided we didnt want to wake up ten years from now, our daughter in school and our roots firmly in the ground of a place we didnt want to be. Its easiest if your single, easier with no kids, yet still easy with a young family and shallow roots. Dont wait until its too late.

If its something you REALLY want to do, you can do it.

Nope I don't lost the battle, I would never give up the icefishing, it's in Minnesotan blood. Babes in bikini love do a polar plunge! Not mentioned that lot of cuddling involved. Don't see any cuddling on the beach.

My kayak wars team, Team Primus, and I killed the flounder today. A four man limit. A limit of flounder via hook and line isnt an easy task, a four man limit is PHENOMENAL.

The big one was twenty one inches, not sure how much it weighed but probably around four to five pounds.

It was pretty cold, only made it to about sixty five yesterday. Actually the temp wasnt too bad, it was the howling North wind blowing a constant ten to fifteen in our face that made it for a long, cold, rough, wet, day. We go due north to hit the beach and it took us over an over of straight pedaling to cover the two and half miles back to the beach from our honey hole. We were beat.

My arms are fine though. Im use to fighting snapper, grouper, AJ, etc so these flounder are nothing compared to them. My butt and legs are a different story though. The tournament just started and goes until December so it will be awhile before we find out who wins.

My ravens are world champions... I may have to fish tomorrow in celebration
