FISHING SEASON 2K13!!!!!!

Going fishing tomorrow after I hit up the skatepark hopefully ill catch my first bass of the season! Or maybe some brim or something

This past year was my first year kayak fishing, didnt even get a full twelve months in but it was fantastic none the less.

Some notables:

Countless snapper, including a beast thirty five inch fish
Countless kings and bobos
Nineteen Mahi-mahi
Several cobia, though non legal
Three BFT
A few grouper and triggers
Some amazing sightings like dozens and dozens of sea turtles including some giant leather backs, several sailfish including being there when SniperPeeps got his, and a once in a lifetime opportunity to swim with a whale shark.

I didnt get me a sail this year but I cant complain.

I hope to do better next year on all the species I caught this year but I would like to add tarpon, sailfish and legal cobia to the list.

they're building a bass pro about 10 minutes from my house, im never gonna have money ever again

Hope I've got something to add this weekend. If the weather is good I'll get to take my square stern canoe with a 40# trolling motor on it's first fishing trip.

bring back 2012.. just got back from my 2nd trip of the year and my 2nd "skunking". girlfriend caught 2 crappie and i caught nada.

no fish yet so far but MY RAVENS ARE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL!!!!!! WOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to the lake crabtree tail race today. Hiked a little bit downstream, jumped a fence or two, and found my way to a nice hole behind some boulders. Caught a lot of crappie on 1/32 ounce white marabou jigs, including a new addition to my 60 gallon native tank. Didn't get any pictures though. High light of the day was a decent 1 and 1/2 pound white crappie. I might go again soon with some bigger jigs or maybe some tubes for bigger fish. All I know is I can't wait for some bedding bass. I've had my eye on an 11 plus pound fish that I've tried to catch for the last 3 years in my secret pond. Tight lines everyone!

got this big chain on new years day on a boat with a blue black jig but usally the ponds are completely frozen over at this time..
