  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Flounder bite has been terrible this year. My buddy and I still managed a mess of FINE eating fish. Black Sea Bass arent exactly too common in my area so this haul was a nice bonus!

pretty work on the knotheads and flatfish man... had some blackened sea bass last night. got a real easy recipe.

Caught possibly the fattest bass of my life today. 4lb 4oz and only 17" long. Lost another 8lb toad about 10 feet from the bank. blahhhhhhh

Fatty!

I blacken fish on the regular but prefer not to on fish that are mighty fine eating on their own. I will blacken fish like AJs and Redfish all day long and they are perfect for it!

So looking forward to the cobia run which will start here in about a month or so.

Talk about a pig, would be nice to catch that same fish in a couple of years if it eats like that.

I didn't blacken them really heavy like some people do, was first time i'd ever tried it, came out good!! the cobes will be here in may send em on up!!

Just got out and had my first good day this year hitting the ponds in my area. Killing the Bass game! Caught me 5 today and my girlfriend caught 1 to only fished for about an hour or so but still a great day, can't beat a day fishing. Was using my new PFLUEGER Patriarch I got for Christmas on with my All Star Pro Series Medium Heavy rod I got from my buddy for trading some 55gallon Fish Tank lids that I wasn't using ;). Anyway wanted to share my catches. Added some pictures of one of my fishing spots on Lake Murray SC. Also if you want a nice light weight reel that handles like a champ I highly recommend the Pflueger Patriarch. will upload any more catches I get wouldn't mind some advice on some good salt rods and reels either as I am about to start looking into them for summer trips to Charleston and Myrtle! Edit: random thing I had a carp nail my lure when I got fishing today but it got off right before I got it to shore :(

Found some sheepshead today. Easily would of had my limit but I was way outgunned with the 8lb mono I was running today. I broke off easily 3x as many fish as I caught and just straight up missed a ton of bites! Sheepshead are super tricky to get a hook into.

Had a great day of fishing. 6 fish, 4 weren't anything to brag about. 1-2 lbs. Then this guy hit at about 630.

5 and a half pounds

And last cast of the night at nearly 8 in the pitch black scale fluttered an ounce constantly. Gonna call it 7 and a half fluttering 7 and 8 ounces

01/01/2007?? assuming your cameras date is messed up?

You'd be correct. Jan 2007 I was in a body brace, braces on both my arms, mouth wired shut with 26 broken bones and about 2 months from waking up from a 16 day coma.
