Fishing season 2k14!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Many trash fish offers benefits to the ecosystems. But the carps there's no evidence that they benefits the ecosystem in North America and we could never find any evidence that the carps plays an important role for our ecosystems. Maybe young sterile grass carps.

True but they don't pose much a threat to it either.

no idea where dreams went bud... i havent had a chance to try for cats. Moved and got a new job and I have worked literally 200 hours in the past two weeks setting up a new store. Haven't got this area figured out but the good news is that there are lots of opportunities for huge blue cats and there are some big flatties around as well

where you at now? gotta quit with all that working stuff. On the other hand, I have fished a ton in the past 3 weeks with just 4 fish to show for it and one fish over 10 pounds. Thats not very productive for all that gas money. I did catch only my 3rd blue cat ever today that went just under 10. Only fish of the trip though. The asian carp here are making fishing less than enjoyable at times.

Unfortunately there are strong evidence that we're better off if the carps had just stayed in their native home.

Im not disputing that at all. It's be the best if every fish stayed in their natural range, oh no but then what would the bass fishermen do!? Lol. My point was just that they're not as harmful as fish such as round gobies in the Great Lakes.

you guys want to talk about carp, lets talk about asian carp.... They are destroying my rivers. I pull up to a hole and all I mark is carp top to bottom. Thats not even to mention the 15 pound fish flying out of the water and into myself and the boat at 30 MPH. They slime and bleed everywhere the second they touch too.

Yeah those Bigheads and Blacks and the like are definitely a major threat to the ecosystem as well as people. Don't have them around me so they weren't what I was referring to. The Asian carps are definitely a big problem though, there's no disputing that.

Congrats on doing big things Dreams!!

J I'm in Charlotte NC now...

By the way... HOOS YOUR DADDY!!!! :headbang2

Glad to see everyone is having such great seasons! I love all the catfish you guys have been catching. I haven't really got to fish this year but I plan on fishing this weekend. My pond had a really bad winterkill and many fish died so I'm not too sure if there are fish left in it. Got a bunch of new tackle and haven't even used them. Caught a few tiny pickeral recently and went to Cyprus for a month and went fishing there only catching these little tiny fish. It was a terrible winter for ponds. Found this huge bass dead on my pond along with a bunch of other fish mostly all smaller uploadfromtaptalk1408246864827.jpg
