went out for about 2 hours this evening and got 9 Smallmouths - mostly all on the Crickhopper, 1 on the Fly-spinner w/ a leadhead and spring-grub trailer. Guys next to me got a 26"L, 13"G Channel cat that weighed 5lbs 13oz. just as it was getting dark and I was leaving

Still avoiding live baitfish - shiners, chubs, suckers - no interest at all, maybe it's the spot, but I never seen fish turn down an easy meal of live baitfish like this

A little more all the way from the rock in the middle of the sea.

Did pretty well at Lake 'O, especially for the Lake flipping on day 1 and fishing being terrible until the second to last day. Surface water temps anywhere from 33.6 - 71.1°F. Caught Steelhead, Browns, Chinooks, and lost an Atlantic that had to be over 20#! Landed fish were anywhere from 4.5# to 15.0#. 17 fish total, kept two Chinooks and a Steelhead for the grill, revived & released everything else. Accomplished a few things this trip, PB Steelhead at 28" 12#, PB Brown at 23" 7#, first Chinook, and first Atlantic. Kind of mad though, since all the Lakers, my favorite fish, had already migrated east when we got there! Oh well, I'll be back in the fall :D.
