Right now I have an AmazonBasics 240 page classic notebook that was like $4, and the paper quality is OK, but I've only had it for a little over a month, and I'm already like a third through it. My next notebook will probably be a Seven Seas Writer, with 480 pages of fountain pen friendly paper. I use Noodlers Bulletproof Black ink in most of my pens.

Why not just get a binder? That reminds me that I have to find my binder....

I like to be able to go back and look at particular notebooks, and I like the size of A5 notebooks more, and binder sheets can fall out of easily be torn out. Also it's harder to find high quality loose leaf paper that works well with fountain pens.

LOL I hope I'm not making the fishkeeping journal/log entries too detailed, I counted, and I've written like 80 pages this month alone.

Since when is being too detailed a bad thing? Honestly lol.

I use to keep a detailed log of tanks and pond. I need to start it back up.
