Fishkeeping Logs/Journals

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I know this is a little late but I am going to recording my new fish's growth and such personally but was wondering if anyone wants me to create a thread and show everything on my lyonsi. I contacted Dan at Cichildsoftheamericas today for placing my order btw. I see that there was one or two growth threads on lyonsi that never got super far and thought i could do one, thoughts?

I personally always think its great when people want to keep an online record of their tanks and fish...

I have had a few planted tank journalsin the planted section that over time got neglected (except for one), but even then its fun to look over what i did in the past to see how far i’ve come or how much things have changed for me which i may have forgotten about before...

So if you are up for it, i’d say do it! Coz if you end up keeping the fish for a long time it’d be nice to see how it progressed over time...

I agree with Fat Homer Fat Homer

It’s nice to fellow and watch others progress threads, but they are also nice to have for yourself personally.

I go back to reference growth or looks of different fish I’ve kept track of on here. Sure I have the pictures on my devices, but in my threads I have the pictures, dates, important info I wanted to remember, and the biggest plus is that’s it’s all contained in one spot. No need to cycle through a million photos to find the one you’re looking for. :)

So I say go for it.

Thanks for the feedback, I was just concerned if people would be aggravated that I was making a long thread on my fish.

Around here people who are interested will tend to tune in and those that arent are encouraged to just move on...

So i dont think you have too much to worry about unless you are keeping fish in very very undersized tanks... in which case you may find a few people will be quick to point that out...
