No, it is definitely not a tilapia, the peeling gene is exclusive to amphilophus.

im working on my fish room
planning on mostly or entirely 20 gallon tanks but of different bio types if possible
these work perfectly as 20 gallon stands

If I get to cleaning the glass tonight after work I’ll post some photos. These are just some older photos- I have an old video of my fish room from my previous house- there were 13 tanks all stacked but cannot figure out how to post video.
I also have 3 dogs and 4 aquatic turtles

I’ll be 100% honest I sold the discus inside a year- they just aren’t for me. Pretty, yes but malicious towards each other in a different way and missed the interaction from more robust SA cichlids and CA’s.
I also sold my Altums but kept the geos
